Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to discover scuba diving!... My husband ( Daniel LeBlanc) and myself had Billy for our instructor, He was phenomenal! Extremely great at his job! He is veryyyy patient! (thank God).. He takes diving very very serious, and is very vigilant about safety and you being comfortable before moving to the next step. When we went out on the first dive I was waiting underwater and i cant remember what happened but i freaked and went straight to the surface and Billy came right after me... I had already decided i just wanted to go back to the boat and wait there... buuutttt, Somehow... and i have no idea how Billy did it or what he said, but he had me back underwater even held my hand to make me feel comfortable and by the 2nd dive it just "clicked" and i was perfectly fine!!! It felt like it was my 10 time to dive!!! woooo whooo!!!! Big HUGGEEE thank you to Billy!!! Park, Shawn and Ilene and of course the Captain!!!... everybody was so very nice and friendly and very professional!!!! BIG LOVE!!! FROM TEXAS!!! :D
Manta Ray in the Eastern Dry Rocks. Thanks Captain's Corner. This is the first after 28 years of diving.
Had a great dive seeing a Manta Ray cruising in the waters of the Eastern Dry Rocks off of Key West!
The bio of John Park. For those of you who haven't met this driven and focused young man ill give you a brief bio. JP is 16, and hails from Charlotte. He spends his summers working on the sea eagle with us, and the dream. His roommate, Joe Weatherby, has taken him under his wing and steering him in the right direction. This was his second summer interning with us so to speak, and he sets the bar high. He never complains, always helps out, and always has his standard issue blue gloves ready to pump out before anyone else. He is a pleasure to be around, and we will miss him. When he turns 18 in a few years look out, he will be better than all of us when we were 18. Thank you for all your hard work JP.YOU DA MAN! Henry
Tomorrow looks like it's going to be another beautiful summer day. I'm sorry that I have been slacking on the posts lately since I havent been working the deck. I'll make up for it tomorrow. I should have some cool video from today and tomorrow. Dust off the dive card and meet me at the boat. :-) henry
Today was a great day on the sea eagle. We had good divers on the vandenberg this morning. The afternoon reef trip was where it was at though. We had a troop of girl scouts that had no problem gettin down with the scuba get down. Special thanks to tony for prepping the girls in the pool, Irene for being her awesome self and helping everyone, and JP for helping at the pool and on the reefs. I'm not going to thank myself since I'm writing this and it was my pleasure to lead the dives. R U 4 SCUBA? HENRY
